Used Portable Tradeshow Booths - Competitive Setup

By Patty Stripes

Why on earth would you want to buy used portable tradeshow booths? There are a million reasons why! Lets check out the positive aspects of getting used portable tradeshow booths as well as why these factors can add up to form a competitive advantage in a tradeshow. Extracting equal or greater benefits from used portable tradeshow booths, when compared to getting a new one, requires you to be smarter and savvier than your competition. It all begins with understanding that trade show booths are just a tool. The real magic comes from the people behind the exhibit, and what they do to use the booth as an effective sales tool.

As long as youre planning to get used portable tradeshow booths, you might as well take the time to do your homework right in order to make the pieces fit together as well as possible. One of the first actions you could take is to attend to several tradeshows, the industry doesnt matter, and take careful notes about the booths that catch your attention. Imagine yourself, your product or service, and your people inside all the different types of booth and take quick notes about your thoughts and feelings. Use this data as a weighted criterion when it comes down to making decisions.

When youve organized your notes, thoughts and feelings into an integrated concept of design, try sketching out a blueprint of how your used portable tradeshow booths would look like. Keep drawing it out until you hit the sweet spot, until you clearly know what it is you need to maximize your on-floor presence. Then, after all this preparation is taken care of, go and shop around for your used portable tradeshow booths. Try to get the one that approximates the most to your sketch drawings. Ask yourself the following helpful questions: how much retouching would this booth need? Are there low cost materials in the market that would help me make the used display more attractive?
