Trade Show Convention Display - Marketing Tactics

By Patty Stripes

The fact that each and every year there is an increasingly number of tradeshows scheduled is one of the factors that make a trade show convention display such an effective sales tool. Converting a simple trade show convention display into a powerful sales anchor is all about doing the little things right. There are basically two ways in which you could make a sale with the help of a tradeshow. The most common way is to use your exhibit to gather a substantial number of leads whom you will follow up after the show. This can be done applying different methods, for example you could set up some kind of raffle in which the interested participants would be required to fill out a form with their email address.

The other way a trade show convention display functions as a means of achieving sales is by using them to perform direct sales. However some trade-shows might permit onsite sales, while others do not. So make sure to collect all the info on an upcoming tradeshow to learn if you can use your display exhibit as a direct sales medium. A good way to achieve these types of sales at shows is to make on spot offers. You can configure a very attractive package for your visitors to take advantage of in a specific tradeshow; nowhere else.

Another effective way to get the job done is to creatively form gatherings and crowds around your trade show convention display. One way to do this is to offer free drinks such as water, tea or coffee, such offer might create a small conglomeration of people that can attract more tradeshow attendees to your display in a snowball effect progression.
